Our two dark rooms in Italy are part of a yoga & meditation sanctuary in Tuscany, a serene refuge nestled deep in the woods away from it all and yet only an hour’s drive to Pisa and Florence so one has the opportunity to enjoy Italy’s beauty before or after the retreat if they wish to do so.

Coming to The Sanctuary has often been described as entering another world, “a world of peace and quiet”.

 

GUATEMALA

The Guatemalan dark room dome is currently not operating as we have relocated to Europe.

It is located on the shores of Lake Atitlan. Tzununa/San Marcos La Laguna are Mayan villages next to each other, known as the ‘yoga capital of Central America’ with a laid-back atmosphere and incredible views of the lake’s three volcanoes.

Our darkness retreat dome is situated outside Tzununa in a quiet ashram environment with optimal conditions. It offers a specially designed ventilation system, a shower and toilet and a double door system for food supply.
